What’s a Model Leader?

Bias remains an obstacle to finding and promoting qualified leaders. Some bias is based on race, but a significant, often overlooked issue is perception of what constitutes or characterizes a good leader. This study while headlining the “minority issue” actually illustrates the bias for “charisma.” The problem outlined is that charisma is not associated with certain minorities. Charisma is overrated as a characteristic necessary for top leadership positions.
